is it possible?

Question:
Is it possible for a man to get HSV2 by another man with HSV if he is giving head to the guy? Because that what happen to me. I didn't go down on him, he went down on me.

Answer:
Hi.

Yes. HSV2 could have been spread to your genitals through oral sex if your partner had an HSV2 cold sore or was otherwise shedding the HSV2 virus in his mouth area.

Answer:
the bummer is that this virus is spread by skin to skin contact and can infect any part of the body that it comes into contact with, however it is not necessary for there to be an out break (ob) for it to be transmitted to another person.

If someone performed oral sex on someone who had a genital infection they can contract it orally and then spread it to someone through kissing or by performing oral sex on them.

If someone had intercourse with someone with a genital infection they can contract it genitally and then spread it through genital sex or if someone performed oral sex on them it could be spread to that person orally.

So yes if he had an oral infection he could have given it to you genitally and orally (if you kissed him too) and you could never have an ob in either location but spread it to someone else.

It becomes a vicious cycle.
