General question: I believe I was infected on the 15th with some form of Genital herpes. A few days later I got pre-symptoms followed by 2 small pimples for 4 days. Now the pimples have been gone for about 6 days, but there is still some tingling and slight burning in the area. Is this normal? I've been on Valtrex for 3 days now.

How long will these slight symptoms typically stick around for? Just making sure everything is how it should be.

For me there was no tingling or any sensation to them. I just had a few small dots on my penis. What mg valtrex have you been taking. My gf took 1g daily for 10 days i think, (asshole doctor) and her symptoms when away within a week or so. I dont know how much yours tingles but if its just slightly it may just be your mind making you think it.
