Herpes and my kids
Question: Ok me and my girl have 3 kids together and the thing is that none of our kids have this shit in them. sorry for lango but i get so pissed about it. anyways i dont none of my babies getting this. SO does this mean we cant share cups of water anymore? or spoons? or bars of soap? or sleep in the same bed? can they get it just by hugging me? dont make fun cause if you had a kid you would think about all this shit too. and if one of my babies gets this i will die because it will hurt so bad to know i might be the cause for giving them something like this. I couldnt live with the thought. so do i stop sharing everything that has saliva contact with me with my kids? we pretty much SHOWER every time we have sex for fear of getting the virus on something and having contact with our kids. is there any possible way they can get this? Answer: Depending on what type you have and where you have it, I would just be cautious. Strict handwashing and hygiene. I don't share towels and I don't share drinks or food anymore. Am I being paranoid? Hell yea, I don't care. I'd do anything for my kids. But in terms of hugs and kisses? They won't be able to get away from me for that. I need it just as much for my own sanity. Answer: If you have oral herpes, it would require you to be a bit more careful. If you have genital, it's harder to pass. I have genital, and i do nothing different except not let my kid use my towel for anything when it's wet (by the time it's dry, the virus should be dead) and i wear pj bottoms to bed. Answer: Thanks guys. Does anyone know how long the virus can survive on a piece of cloth or anything besides the infected area? Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
