Question:
Do many of you suffer from sores both on your mouth and genitals, if so do you have both hsv1 and hsv2. I got exposed to herpes 30 days ago and had my first symptoms 3 days after. I had tingling on my genitals and fever. Never got a sore down south. All symptoms stopped but now I have cold sores on my mouth. I didnt have oral sex, only kissed and had intercourse with the guy that gave it to me. I read that hsv2 rarely shows up on the mouth. If I have hsv2 wouldnt i be more likely to be getting sores genitally. Also if i go to the doctor and have them swab a cold sore and it comes back positive for hsv1 would you recommend getting a blood test for hsv2? I would need to wait 2 more moths for it to show up. But is it likely that I just have hsv1 and can quit worring about this.

in most cases hsv 1 is coldsores... although i am not 100 % certain... about 80
