Question:
I understand that the virus can reside dormant in your system for
some time after a flare-up. But is it possible to get exposed and
have that first outbreak take so long to come out?? If thats the
case then i understand why most people wouldnt know they are infected. But i thought that the first outbreak was unaviodable and will occur in a
relatively short time frame after exposure.
And if that person doesnt get the first outbreak then they could be
sheeding the virus for some time and expose others to it before they
even have their first outbreak themselves??

Or could it be that someone will have an outbreak and ignore it as
if nothing??? That sounds hard to believe, but hey i guess
everything is possible.

most people don't get fist OB's thats why
and sometimes can have it there entire lives without OB but still be contageous
even though it may appire to be dormant you still can pass it on i heard recently that over 80 percent of the population over 30 and under 45 have H2! :!:

Yeah anything's possible, my bf has it and has never had an OB he thought he was ok, had tests and everything but like a lot of people they dont get tested for that, soo I ended up getting it. My Dr. also told me that some people can have such a mild form of it that they are just carriers and never get OBs. I assume this is the case with my bf because of no OBs and I also dont have a great immune system so I believe thats why I got it from him. Anyway thats my two cents.

I'll tell ya..I knew i had it immediatly. Well..I cant say I knew I had it..I knew something was seriously wrong. My husband had a dried up tiny almost gone cold sore on his lip..we had sex on a Wednesday..woke up thursday morning with lessions. Within 8 hours. I was preg with our second son. Waited until Sunday to do anything cause I just didnt know what was wrong..I thought I had a really nasty yeast infection. What was I to think? I had been with my husband and only my husband for 5 years. Made him take me to the emergency room cause i was in so much pain. I almost lost my mind when they said I had herpes. I was hysterical.
