Does ANYONE on here have Painless OB's ??

Question:
PLease inform, need as much information as you can provide thank you.

Answer:
I dont think i have ever had a outbreak without pain, as the first year is coming to a end with this horriable infection, i find now that i dont get the aches and fever and fatigue, but i still get the swollen glands down there, but never pain free.

Answer:
i've only known about my condition for 3 months, but i've never had a painful outbreak. my primary was marked by a discharge, but no external sores or pain. i attribute this to a healthy immune system. i have worked out regularly for the past 12 years. i really believe that anyone can overcome the physical aspects of this condition - it's a matter of making your immune system as strong as possible. exercise is essential. diet is also very important. i've been doing a lot of research regarding foods that not only build up your immune system, but also have antiviral properties. some of these are green tea, spirulina, broccoli, cranberries, chlorella, and many more. i recommend a powder supplement called green defense by jarrow formulas. it has many of the aforementioned things and is good for you - herpes or not. meditation and yoga are also very helpful. it takes discipline, but i strongly believe anyone can be outbreak free. the psychological aspects of the condition, on the other hand, are what i continue to struggle with.

good luck to all.

Answer:
its seems most people associate their outbreaks with PAIN but mine (initial OB and only one as of now) wasnt painful AT ALL. it felt JUST like a chigger bite that i had scratched to death...the skin just felt raw. i had 4-5 white pimple like bumps right on the inside of my upper thigh and my legs rub together when i walk all day long and it didnt bother me at all, when i sat down or anything. but like with everyone else with this virus it is different in everybody and seems to do its own thing so who knows. i dont sweat the details anymore i just go on like i always did and figure ill know it when i have another OB. the mental anxiety in my case was far worse than the physical pain. when people first get diagnosed they are going crazy but it gets so much easier with time. its seems hard to believe but i honestly go dayz without thinking about the fact that i have herpes. probably because i dont have recurring outbreaks but whatever im not gonna let it ruin my life. i have a great career and a beautiful girlfriend who loves me to death no matter what (she is herpes free too) so drive on with a hard on.

I am just getting over an OB that I did not know was coming on. I had no tingling, itching, etc. All of a sudden it just itched like hell and I got the trusty old mirror out and looked. Sure enough there was a little sore. I started my 1 gram twice daily (Valtrex) Sunday evening and will go down to 500 mg for the next few days. I can still feel something there but nothing compared to Sunday!! What's scary is DH and I had sex Friday night. He's the one that gave it to me (he has the cold sore HSV1) so hopefully he won't get it down there.

Answer:
Physically I am doing ok...mentally and emotionally is another story. I started going to therapy and she I just weren't a good match, I have to find someone knew and start over. I have trouble leaving the house - forget dating.

Anyway - My outbreaks weren't that painful but my doctor had me start taking Lysine. Find it in the vitamin aisle, you can read about it online. I was having outbreaks once a month and I swear since I started taking this I haven't had one.

Answer:
My initial outbreak was not painful at all. Just scarey looking H1.... But since then I have not had any OB just have been getting sick about every three weeks. My body aches very badly and I am just getting over what felt like a flu. It was terrible. I have not been this sick in about two years.
