Can being on antibiotics "bring on" an OB? I have noticed the past 2 years that each time (only two times) I have an OB I am on an antibiotic for sinus infections. Last year it was Avelox and this year it is Cephaclor. I also got a steroid shot on Valentine's Day to help me out, too. Is there any direct relation between the 2 instances??

I believe 100% that there is a link I actually happen to have cronic sinusitis and they kept prescribing me biaxin and other antibacterials (at least every 2 months) and next thing i knew boom our friend would pop in every single time. i havn't taken any antibacterials or medication (aside for the birth controll pill) in 2 years ... and i have only had a few OB's

I just finished Avelox and within a week I had an outbreak. Its the first time I have ever taken Avelox (and it will be my last due to a bad reaction) and the first time I have taken an antibiotic in probably 4 years.
