I have a question??

Question:
I seem to get outbreaks all the time, anytime i getting ready to start or if i have sex, or even wiping after going to the bathroom. Is there anyone out there that can tell me when the outbreaks will slow down. I will have been diagnosed a year in May. I dont have insurance to go on to the supplemental therapy. Any thing that will lessen the outbreak in general? Or anyone have any suggestions in general, I am new to the diease and dont know alot about it, anything will help....

thanks to all in advance

Answer:
well keep reading everything you can. go to the part on the forum about supplements. people use vitamin e, c, lysine...and there are foods that can trigger it...so diet and exercise are essential.

i personally only take vitamin c....1000mg a day. i have only had one break out which was tiny. i was lucky. very....

so...keep reading. and take the lysine and vit c.

Answer:
Hey! I didn't have insurance for a while either but I was determined to stay on my medication. It is worth saving up and buying it yourself. I used to be like you and having OB all the time. Get the generic brand, that is cheaper. Keep taking your meds.......it works!

Answer:
How much do meds usually cost?

Answer:
Best advice I can give is get to the gym, give up drinking, take Vit C, Lysine, or 500mg of Valtrex daily.

Answer:
It was less than $25. I take my meds every other day.
