sharing drinks
Question: I shared a beer with a friend about 1 month ago. Ever since my lips have been extremely dry. I keep putting vaseline on them to help but they never seem to get better. I also have been sick twice since then. Could this be herpes? Answer: I doubt it. Herpes is normally spread skin to skin, not by sharing a beer or glass. And 'dry lips' is not quite a herpes outbreak, there is usually a lesion, a blister, etc. Have you tried drinking more plain old water? Maybe you are dehydrated? :) Answer: This is a very hurting dry lips. with dead skin coming off. Mostly on the corners of my lips. Ill let you know how it goes wthin the next couple of days. Oh yeah, the same thing happened to me only a day or 2 after i shared the drink. Then went away within a few days and I though it was nothing. Now the same with about a month later, this time seems worse.... Thanks for the reply. Answer: It seems ive had every other symptom besides blisters. Can this happen? Answer: how about little tiny faint white spots that seem to appear under the skin of my lips. They don't pop out at all but you can see them through the flesh of my lips if you look really close. Answer: Nope, doesn't sound like it. Do you think you could go see a doctor about this? Answer: Yeah im probably going to end up making an appointment, just gonna have to pay for it out of my pocket. Its gonna be a little tough because Im paying for college aswell. Do you think this sounds like anything else? Maybe a bacterial infection? But i don't know how I always brush my teeth and use mouthwash, but who knows. This is a very friendly message board. Thank you very much to who responded to my posts, I am extremely thankful. :) Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
