Question:
hello

I was just diagnosed with hsv-1 this past week. I have been put on Valtrex and hope I can live a normal life. This is my story. I met someone when I was on vacation earlier this month. We really fell for each other and things led to other things. I used protection but days later after returning from vacation, I went to the doctor b/c I knew something wasn't right with the way I was feeling. I was diagnosed with hsv-1. I couldn't believe it. I ran through my mind over and over again that I used protection against stds and how this is impossible. To the internet I went. I found out alot about hsv-1 and how common and easily transmittable it is. So, am I ok with this? NO. It will get better day to day, i hope.

So back to this fellow I met on vacation, He did not tell me he had herpes, in fact, I don't think he knows. He has emailed me a couple of times to keep in touch. That doesn't sound like someone who knows that they have herpes because he still wants to talk w/ me, you know what I'm saying? I would think if he known, I would have never heard from him again. I am sooo confused.

Answer:
Hey I don't have HSV1 i have HSV2 and I think the reason he wants to stay in touch with you is so that when you tell him he can do the run down on you as I didn't know how tho tell you, I thought you would leave me, and you are such a sweet and pretty girl and I enjoy being around you, and most of all I'm REALLY SORRY., If its something different write me back, he knows if he has cold sores, and if he gives you oral sex you are most likely to get it. Men are a trip and so is life.
