When can i have sex? I have genital herpes and i was wondering when i can have sex, and how do i know im having an outbreak? I just got told i have herpes about 2 days ago and im not veyr familiar at all. If anyone has some words of wisdom or ways they deal with it, please help me. It would be greatly appreciated. Im only 17, and this is a realy hard thing for me to deal with. Please help

i understand what ur going thru believe me im 17 too and i got this about 3 or 4 months after my 17th birthday. when can u have sex that wasnt exactly the first thing i was thinking about but ok. u can have sex when ur partner knows u have this virus and their aware of the risks and their as educated as possible on this because if they dont know then in the end ur going to have a whole lot of guilt on ur shoulders and heart. but u will find someone that will accept u for this, i know that was my biggest concern after i found out i had h. but think about it this way its already hard for girls to find a guy who really cares about them and i guess u can use this as a way to find out who the ones that really care are. but hang in there and i hope this comment was a good start to helping u deal with this
