I am currently waiting for blood tests - hsv 1 and 2 - Another symptom I have noticed is cracks in my skin on the very outside of my anus. Just looks slightly red, not even an opening just a reddening. I do not feel it unless I wipe myself. The thing is I went to my gyno today but didnt think to mention that to her - too many other complaints - but she probably would have noticed while examining me right? Just 1 or two red marks - no other sensation. I just figured its cause I kinda go to the bathroom a lot for whatever reason, high fiber or something - and I get irratated every so often. What do you guys think??

I think there's some resistance on this board of people not wanting to waste their time and energies replying to people who have had 3 negative tests and still keep asking. #1: I think what's his name's response that it could be excema is excellent, especially if you have excema on other parts of your body. #2: You've been posting to this board and going to doctors, try combining the info. If you have a question regarding bumps on your ass and you're at the gyno, she's probably a good one to ask. You could say "I've got excema, is it possible that this is that? I've been worried about the possibility if it being herpes too. It's really bothering me, and it may seem small but I'd like to get it sorted out."

As for me, I've got no idea. The only herpes I know is my own, and it doesn't sound like mine. I wish you good luck.

I am very scared about my latest test - The 1st time I know I had an accurate test - the second was only for igm, the 3rd not specific - and the 3rd was the only one done since these symptoms started. Sorry if you feel your time was waisted - I am very upset and full of anxiety about these results. I'm sorry.
