It's possible that both of you could have had herpes all along..

Does your husband plan on getting tested?

Just because you found out recently that you have herpes doesn't mean that you cheated on your husband.

We went to the Dr yesterday we are now on a treatment for the herpes but he has not been tested as of yet I have had the out breaks for about 8 months now wasnt sure what they were till i went to the dr for them and now he tells me that we have to watch for cancer from this also I am so pissed and hurt right now I dont know what to do the dr also said that there is no way of telling who had it first or where it came from.
My husband insist that he didnt mess around either that maybe he has had it for 20 years and it just now serviced or that one of us got it from a toilet. But from everything I have been reading the past few days it dont work that way.

I don't understand why your husband hasn't been tested?

Don't you guys want to know if he has it or not?

He may very well have it and just didn't know that he had it.

For the record.. herpes does *not* cause cancer.

He is supposed to go get tested today and yes I want to know if he does have it cause if he doesnt there where did I get it from I have never ever cheated on him I take my vows very serious. If herpes does not cause cancer then why did the Dr say I have to go in for pap smears and get checked for it. I think I need to find a new Dr.
