h for dummies

Question:
So, I read a lot about protecting your partner from H if they are negative. But, if both partners are positive, what are the rules and regulations? Can we still get cold sores from oral sex? Any advice would be great...

Answer:
You can't contract what you already have... make sense?

Angela

Answer:
True you can't herpes if you allready have it.Just like you can't get a cold if you allready have one.If you were to have sex with someone who is having an OB then you can infect another area of your body though.I really don't think sex would be that great during an OB though

Answer:
If you were to have sex with someone who is having an OB then you can infect another area of your body though. Not if you already have herpes antibodies built up in your own body.

The only time it's possible to self innoculate is during a true primary when there are no antibodies built up.

Hope this helps to clarify things a little bit,

Angela :D

Answer:
Angela if I have a herpes sore on my body and then I or another person infected with herpes touches it then touches another part of my own or thier body, then YES they can infect another area.
