Sex causing outbreaks?
Question: I couldn't find anything on the topic, so I was wondering if sex causes outbreaks for anyone else? Or if anyone has been able to find anything to reduce the effects. Right now I also take macrobid after everytime I have sex to prevent bladder infections, it's an antibotic, and I think that might be screwing with my twice a day valtrex. (I'm blessed. :) ) If any one has any suggestions, i'd be thankful to try anything. Answer: Hi cyclegirl, Some people complain that friction during intercourse causes outbreaks. while friction is great for sensation, it can often lead to dryness and irritation which can unfortunately exacerbate an outbreak. This is common esp if your man is long-winded, or you guys are having wild "who's your daddy?" sex or you are using a dildo for a while. Not that there's anything wrong with any of the above  Try using plenty of water based lubricant like KY jelly or some other water based lube. If you use condoms, make sure the lube is safe for use with condoms. Also.. immediately after a session...try cooling down your vaginal area with a cold cloth or cool water from the shower. Happy Motoring Answer: Thanks Patty, I started taking lysine thank's to this forum, and it's helped immensly. I haven't been getting the outbreaks, even after the wild "who's your daddy" sex. :D Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
