More Q`s on Oral..

Question:
My boyfriend wants to have oral when we are not out breaking ... Is this a good idea? I don`t think so .. because i have a 2 year old and I don`t want to take any chance of spreading and or passing it to her .. or most improtantly not being able to kiss her, or us kiss each other . Hes worried that we never ever be able to have oral again.. any comments on this would help greatly.

Answer:
if you are both worried, try doing oral using condoms and dental dams. This can help with spreading it (hard to do once you have it, but it IS possible.) and you can make it FUN! use flavored condoms and oils and stuff!

Anytime after sex or a sexual act....cleanliness is key as wel. Apparently little old herpes doesn't like soap too much, I would assume thing like listerine/mouthwash/etc is not its friend as well. So to be extra careful do a quick cleanup! hell, that can be fun too!

good luck!

Answer:
excuse my ignorance....but what exactly is a "dental dam"? i like giving oral sex but don't want to catch or spread if i have....I've recently learned that cold sores are hsv1...my kids and i have gotten cold sores for many years...i will be taking them to get a blood test as soon as i confirm that it will detect and when it will detect....but i digress.....

what is a dental dam and if it's what i am imagining, where do you get them?

Answer:
hahaha! No problems!!!
Dental dam has been used FOR YEARS now by bisexual and lesbian women as a means to practice safe sex. It is exactly what you think it is...what a dentist will use, in particular, when performing many oral surgeries and what not. It is like latex saran wrap! I think you can now get it at most adult stores, and even at certain drug stores!!! (depending on where you live.) Also check into your local planned parenthood and they can steer you into the right direction.

Prior to obtaining dental dams, folks DID use saran wrap! Some still do (should they run out of dental dams!) Seems crazy I know, but it CAN be alot of fun!

Answer:
lol....thanks for the info!
