could shaving cause an ob?

Question:
Ok, don't know how else to put this, but could shaving "down there" cause an outbreak? I would like to shave my entire area around and ON my vagina(I normally just shave the top part). I'm afraid it will cause an ob. Any advice???

Answer:
mmm, it depends irritation can cause a ob, and if u have never shaved it entirely then u really dont know if its going to be ok with it being bald.
but i doubt it will cause a ob.

Answer:
causes outbreaks for me...so that sucks because I used to always shave and now I can't.

Answer:
I have obs when I shave, too. I just tried again just to be 100% sure and, yup! I used to shave totally and dh loves it and requests it, but it's just not worth it.

Answer:
Combined with stress, I'm certain this was the trigger for my outbreak....the only one that i've noticed to date. Which is weird, because I have shaved often before :-/ my guy isn't going to like the fuzzy much LOL

Answer:
Ugh, that may explain the ob I think I am about to have. So much to learn about this darn condition. My dh is indifferent to my shaving (likes it alot but will be fine). I on the other hand really like it! Bummer!

Answer:
Does anyone have any suggestions about how to get rid of hair without shaving or causing an outbreak? I hate having it there, I feel like it makes it itch more and harder to figure out what is going on down there. I was thinking about electrolysis but that's not really in my budget anytime soon!

Answer:
immac? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Answer:
shavingb actually helps me keep them at bay, i can see if i have an OB alot easier, then i just take 3 lysine instead of 2 and apply the power to myself topically (mixed with water)
