Question:
I was wondering if anyone, well females, have gotten their period while on an outbreak, i just seems like it would be 20X worse, but i was supposed to start mine and then i didn't, and i got the OB instead and now that it has healed, i have my period. does it delay it? or no? well if anyone has just let me know!

Answer:
Well, I am just newly diagnosed but I was on my period when I was having an outbreak (thought it was a yeast infection only). I didn't think that it was any different. My period came and went just as always and there was no extra burning or itching for me. Now, I know we are all different so just because I felt normal doesn't mean that all will. I wish it would be that way. I want to say that it seemed almost better when I was on my period. But as soon as it ended it was back to itching constantly and discharge. But I was diagnosed with a yeast infection and herpes so who knows what symptoms were for what. Geez, I confused myself a bit there. LOL

I've had 2 outbeaks and they both occured during my period. In some women, their period actually induces the outbreak.
