Outbreak Overload!!!

Question:
Yes, its me again. Good news is Im getting used to the idea that THIS is happening so emotionally Im resigned at least(good days and bad..). The rather mortifying news is that I think Im on week 7 of itching and swelling and hurting. Unfortunately, as I mentioned in an earlier post, I have nothing to treat it with as my Dr.s prescription was to find the worry button and turn it off!!!! Up until now, I havent had any open sores to swab just bumps, pain and itching. Tonight I noticed a few small white bumps throughout the side of my labia that has been affected. The bumps are just below the surface of the skin and now Im actually bleeding in one spot. I would run to the ER for a swab but theyll probably say its just from scratching which may be true. I cant see very well at all but I can see a small open spot near where this whole mess started. My Dr. totally humiliated me and even refused blood work saying there are no tests so Im not going to her Ill tell you! I am blown away that it could go on this long. It seems to be settling and then its back. My husband is getting tired of waiting for sex and Im not going there!! He doesnt believe me that I have it because HE doesnt have any symptoms. I know and Ive told him how it works but ...WHATEVER , I just want to get this over with!! Sorry to be so negative. Just getting tired I guess. Ms.

Answer:
if ur doc saw that and refused to do any test, you should report her to the state plain and simple.

u dont have any meds? go get some vitamins, lysine (or L-Lysine) b12, zinc, coconut oil... that was my routine when i didnt want to take the rx meds.

Answer:
Ms. Can you go today to someplace like planned parenthood and get them to do a swab?

I just got over 2 months straight of ob and I know what you're going through it's enough to make a person go completely crazy.

If you want to message me privately I'd be happy to chat.

I am now on about week 3 of clear skin. It's a miracle.

Answer:
Hi Ms,

Can you find another doctor who can give you a prescription and do the tests? There are several tests for HSV that might be done. Prescription meds for herpes (e.g acyclovir or valtrex) are very safe and quite effective. It might be a good idea to keep some medication in reserve, because they are most effective when taken as soon as you can after the symptoms start.
