Question:
"Herpes lesions do not recur on both sides of the body's midline"

I got this quote from another site where an STD doctor stated this. I can't post there to ask him details.

Is this statement true? And what does it mean? That a primary outbreak can not occur on both sides of the body's midline? Or is this just for secondary outbreaks? If my first outbreak lesion crossed the midline, does that mean it probably wasn't herpes?

the saggital plate is the midline.

and herpes crosses this. people with shingles, will get a rash from the side of their ribs, all the way across to the other side. just saying no it wont cross the midline isnt going to stop it.

also gential, doesnt just occur on one side on the penis/vagina, people get outbreaks all over their genitals, same goes for oral, some people get really bad coldsores that take over there face.
and this can happen each time they have a outbreak.

if you had a outbreak, and know of it- you prob have herpes.
