Need yet another clarification.....
Question: So my mortified state of thinking I'll never have sex again has disappeared. And my boyfriend isn't leaving me b/c I 'somehow' contracted hsv-1 on my yoni..... We're both aching for eachother and have been discussing sex a bit lately. He is under the impression b/c of research he's done that I can't transfer my herpes to him b/c I have hsv-1 down there. I tell him yes I can b/c it doesn't matter, it's still hsv-1, but it'd be hsv-1 on his dick too.... is this correct? does anyone have references to a website that discusses this? Or somethings that says that hsv-1 in the genitals is still transferable? thanks. you all have been such a help. Answer: yes, either type can spread to someone else regadless of the type.....either virus can affect either area...genital or oral. Type in genital herpes on google and a million sites telling how GENITAL HERPES is transmitted, which is what you have...type 1 or 2 makes no difference. Answer: BoxofRain is correct. You got HSV1 on your yoni, so why couldn't he get the same thing on his yoni? Makes sense doesn't it? He could also get it in his oral region if he performs oral sex on you. If your boyfriend decides to take the risk of having sex with you, great. But only if it is an informed and consentual risk. So far he really can't give informed consent because he doesn't know the risks yet. He is very much misinformed. It is your duty and responsibilty to set him straight as to the facts before he can even make a choice. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
