Question:
Around my lips, i had one appear in Jan this year, just above my top lip, and it's like a clear skin lump, then a month later, i had one appear just under my bottom lip, and it was after after having a shave, and only the yesterday i had a shave, and another lump as come up on the other side of my bottom lip.
They are lumps, and it uspets me as it makes my lips look bigger and more rised.

I've been to the docs about these lumps, he said it could be herpes, i was shocked and uspet by this. He prescribed me with some Aciclova 800g tablets and told me to take 5 a day, ive done that for months now but no change, i saw him again a few months ago, he gave me the tablets again and acicolvir cream but still no change. So he reffered me to the Dermatoligist, who i saw last month, she studied my mouth and was foregin, so was hard to tell her how i feel. I told her about the lumps, but she pointed out somethin else, saying i had a herpes skin legsion. But it was not as noticable as these lumps, but she didnt say anything bout them.So she was no help. She gave me some Fudicin cream(something like that) But thats not improved anything. So im goin to my doc again this wk, but i doubt he can help me get rid of these lumps, ive had em since jan and they arent getting any better.
Also by my face cheeks, ive noticed i have lumps there too, and my skin has rised,and u can see these creases showing up, where the lumps are.

It's really upsetting me, i think abou it everyday, i tell my parents about it, and they say they cant see anything. As there clear lumps, but you can see that the skin has risen and it makes me lips look rised.

Can anyone tell me what ive got ? and offer me some advice on trying to fight this and get rid of these lumps.

Why not get blood type tested for HSV? Or culture a bump. That would narrow down the possibilities.

If you leave a doctor's appointment being so unsure of everything, you probably need to be more forceful with making them answer your questions. Your doctor works for you, not vice versa. Make another appointment. Writing down all your questions on paper before going helps too.

I have lil pimples and bumps around my genital area...They itch some what but do not hurt at all....I hate when i wash myself i feel them so i am finally gonna break down and go to the doc to get some type of meds...cause.....i tried valtrex 1 time and it made me crazy sooo therefor i am gonna ask for something else...temporary to see if they go away...l

I do well with the Acyclovir but not in the beginning.

yes now that i think of it, its a constant outbreak, i have a few pimple looking thi8ngs on my butt and inner thighs....and some around my vagina...dont hurt just kinda itch and never go away.....i tried valtrex but i didn;'t work for me......it nmade me have very bad side effects......like felt like i was on street drugs, reallly weird....want to try something else...
