Guys, shaving, Oral HSV
Question: Oral HSV has been around forever, guys have been shaving with razors forever, and 50% of guys have Oral HSV. Seems like shaving on a regular basis would spread it all over the beard area, cheeks, neck... especially when using a razor. So why don't guys spread more oral HSV sores around their face from shaving? Why don't we see guys with HSV sores all over their faces and neck? Answer: might explain goatee's and moustaches and beards. Answer: Dunno, but shaving around an oral outbreak is a pain! Answer: i dont get oral outbreaks - alltho everly little tingle spot or pimple near my mouth nose or eyes sends me into panic stations.. Answer: I would assume that it is a little harder to spread than one would think. You are right , I have oral HSV-1 and I shave everyday. Lips are my only problem. This has been since I was 25. I am 41 now. The body puts up a good fight after initial infection and probably takes care of most secondary sites. Disclaimer!!!
