Ok here is my story. I am a 30 year old female. I have been with the same guy for 8 years and I was the first person he had sex with. He was my 3rd sexual partner and haven't been with anyone but him for 8 years. I noticed about a month ago that I had 2 white sores on my genitals that were touching each other like one spread to the other. I also noticed that I was getting a lot of canker sores in my mouth and sores in my nostrils. I am going to get tested tomorrow but what I am scared about is that the means to me that the guy I am with cheated on me to give this to me because the symptoms just now appeared and he wasn't with anyone before me. I want to know if it sounds like its Herpes. Also if it is could it be possible that it spread back to me by kissing him when I had the sores and then having him give it to me during oral sex? I can't find a straight answer to that question. ALso if I got it from someone a long time ago could it take 8 years to show symptoms of an outbreak? ANy information you can give me would help. I don't understand how being with one person and thinking I was ok because I was his first and now I show up with this. Im really scared both for my health and to know that he may have gotten it from someone else and given it to me. Is there a way to tell how long you have had herpes. Any info I can get would help.
