Hey all,

I posted a while back. I am now going on 9 weeks of symptoms. They have been the same since day one (just the first week was a little more intense). I have intermittent soreness and itchiness on the rim of my head (down there). During this time, my partner and I have used a condom (we figure if it is something, we both have it now anyway). After using them, the itching gets REALLY bad for a few hours to a day. I used a condom the first night we had sex after we did it for a while unprotected. So there is one common theme. I hadn't used condoms for over 3 years before that night (was in a long term monogamous relationship where we were both neg for everything). So I am wondering if this is some allergic reaction. So far all my tests have come back neg. Could this be something else? (We are still waiting on her tests due to trying to get into the docs and money reasons).

It could be an allergic reaction of some kind.Maybe a yeast infection?I know that can be itchy,and yes men and boys can get them.A yeast infection would probably be diagnosed pretty fast though.

I'd avoid sex though until it's gone if your penis is itchy after.It's probably irritated by the condom and the friction of the sex anmd that's why it's sore and itchy after.

Could the itch be caused by HPV? or something other than Herpes?
