Could someone please tell me if herpes can cause "Bad" pap test results over and over? Can it be the cause of that? A friend has had a "sore " for about 8 months and also every pap test comes bad abnormal....is this related? I would appreciate any help I could get on this...Thanks :(

Could someone please tell me if herpes can cause "Bad" pap test results over and over? I have had genital herpes for 10+ years and I don't get abnormal pap results. Bad pap results are usually because of abnormal cells... have you discussed any of this with your doc?
