I had sex with a female about 1 week ago... I used a condom... 2 days after, I noticed that the head of my penis was dis-colored, it was more red in some spots but it doesn't look like blisters or anything... Its day 7 now and just below the head of my penis is also beginning to get dis-colored... I'm not getting anything fluid filled pussing out, it doesn't look like blisters it just looks like theres a couple red spots... Whats going on... I'm not getting any discharge or anything like that... It's not painful, or itchy but it is a little more sensitive... I've dipped it in a jar of salt water for 15 min a day since I've noticed the red rash and it seemed to help a little bit.... Guys I am really scared... I went and got tested on tuesday... I had sex on saturday night with this girl... I get my results tommorow (sat), but I dont think herpes even shows up in that amount of time... I don't know what I'll do if I get herpes, I don't know if I could go on... I can't sleep anymore, I've been un-able to sleep for more then 3 - 4 hours a night since Monday... I'm a very healthy person, I work out 6 days a week spending over 3 hours at the gym per shot... I've never done anything wrong in my life, I don't sleep around, it was my birthday and this girl wanted to take me home... I'm 23 years old and I feel like crying... I get tears whenever I drive at the thought of having an std of this type... What do guys think??? When you got herpes for the first time did you notice that you guys had blisters that began puffing fluid right away??? Was it painful right away??? When did you notice these blisters begin to appear after intercourse??? I call my things rashes, their nothing more then that so far.... Someone please repond... Is it possible for herpes just to be a rash... It doesnt look like any of the pictures I've seen on the internet so far... I think most of the pictures are pictures of well developed herpes cases....

You are right, it is devestating, but not life ending. I am a female and not sure what the male signs are.

Take the test, get on meds if you have it. With HIV spreading the way it is, I actually thanked GOD, for just slapping me on the hand vs. giving me an end of life sentence.

I'm clean... NO sypthoms and I'm on day 20 now... I have no idea where that rash could have come from... I prayed to God every night... I swear I could feel something watching me sometimes, over my right shoulder... Since then I've changed my life considerably... I would usually look down on a person that contracted something like this but not anymore... I see everything very differantly now... I have done days of reading on herpes guys... I'm from Europe, their medicines are alot differant from here... I've read many books from both nations... I've learned that this virus was actually curable IF YOU TAKE PRECAUTIONS ASAP.... The immune system can do wounderous things, things most people dont even know about.... I ain't one of those people that sits around on my computer all day.... I'm actually quite active, I party alot (which I've started toning down alot) but most importantly I work out tones... 6 days a week... I believe if your body is strong enough both mentally and phyiscally you can beat anything, even HIV... It's been done guys... I was seriously thinking of suicide... I even talked to my parents about my situation... My dad was mad... I even cried and I'm 22 years old... He told me never to give up, life is one fight after another... I went out and purchased immune boosters, I soaked my penis in herbal tea's, I cranked up my work out schedual and only ate good foods... I had something down there guys... It's pretty much gone now... I had many sypthoms of herpes, yet I'm clean... I believe you can cure this piece of shit of a disease... You just need a mind set... If anyone has the balls try this... Stop this surpressive shit... Work your body out, get it as healthy as it could be... I spend 3 hours a day at the gym, 1 day break.... Btw I live in Canada... I'm origionally from Europe... The book that helped me most was called Sam Sobe Doktorem, which means I am my own docter... It's written in Slovakian and its written by Jiri Cingros.... I ain't going to go into detail unless someone actually requests it, but I swears guys, this book says you can cure herpes if you act quick enough before it begins to multiply... I acted on day two, when I first saw my rash appear....

While I dont have the virus as of yet, I did get a bunch of red sores on my head of my penis 3-4 days after unprotected sex. I normally dont do this, but i had gotten out of a long relationship that was strickly monogomous, and wasnt used to a condom again and made a mistake. I will never do something like this again. In any regards the rash/bumps went away in 2wks time. I went to the school nurse, and she said I should wait 2wks so that everything can perculate. I have since been tested, and all came back negative including hiv. Although the county health dept test that I took, didnt test for Herpes. I want to know why they dont? this pisses me off. I want to get a blood test asap so that I know. I have not had any outbreaks since the rash went away 3months ago. :roll:

I have been going through the same stress as u guys listed above, it is devasting. Like it doesnt happen to me kinda thing. Rich, have u worked out lots and then went and got another herpes test? If u got another test, this would confirm your theroy. As for immune booster, where do you get it from? and the costs associated.

I run every day the week, usually 2miles, and I want to start lifting in the gym. I also need to find a location for the blood test, any suggestions?

You can't really test for herpes virus unless you take a sample from the actual sores bro... The virus stays dormint in the nervous system... The reason some ppl test for herpes using blood tests is because the immune system builds anti bodies after the first exposure to the virus during an outbreak... I've never read about these tests being effective, nor have I heard a docter tell me that these tests were effective.... As for the immune system builder.... You can get em at any good health food store that sell creatine or protein suppliments... They are fairly expensive... 60 bucks canadian for a bottle that last 1 - 2 months... Keep in mind if you do work out hard at the gym it will comprimise your immune system... Many ppl dont know that... Ask any professional though... I just found this out recently...

well since I dont have any outbreaks whatsoever, the swab test wouldnt be applicable to me.

I have heard there are places that do the blot test, which costs around 70something US dollars. I remember seeing a website that offers locations throughout a given state, thus I could call and schedule an appointment.

I want to get teh blood test, and I know it is out there, just dont know any about the details.
Plz provide any if at all information.
