I tested positive for herpes 1 HSV1 and was shocked to find out 60Z% of the population has it.

I am 27 and have never had a cold sore or anything like that in my life.

Its pretty embarrassing to run around saying I have herpes.... but I never had an out break, thank god

So many people get cold sores now (HSV1) that it is not even considered an "STD" any longer. Crazy, eh?

Some people are in total denial too and think that "cold sores" or "fever blisters" are NOT herpes! HAHAHA! I LOVE clueing people in on that little reality check!

Most people get HSV1 in their childhood. some relative kissing them or something like that. Hence the reason I do not like anyone kissing my kids!

I don't think it's 100% denial though...I didn't find out that fever blisters were herpes until recently. Some people really don't know. :shock:
