help me. i am in the military and the military doctors are not the best. i saw one and he says i have herpes. i just did a blood test and am awaiting results. the problem is the girl i last slept with swears she is clean and was just tested in march and hasnt slept with anyone else. i believe her. we did make out a lot with jeans on and my penis got roughed up a bit, i am thinking that is what this is. is there anywhere i can go on the net and show people pictures (just zoomed in of the area) and they can tell me if its herpes? please anyone?

Answer:
Your doctor would know best if it IS herpes. We are not doctors here and everybody's outbreak is a bit different. Whereas, doctors have seen it all, and can give you a more accurate reading. We HERE can not make that determination.

I would suggest that you abstain from sex for a while until your test results are back in, just in case. It could be just friction from the jeans, but, I wouldn't take that chance. As for the girlfriend, she may have been tested for other STDS but herpes is not one we are usually tested for. She might think about getting some bloodwork done herself.
