I contracted HSV-1 last october. I remember for a lilttle while before hand I had what I had thought was a yeast infection. It was just very uncomfortable down there, red and irritated. I am now having the same feeling/sensation and now the spot where my blister had been on the first outbreak is now feeling sore and weird. I was just wondering if these are common signs of an outbreak coming up? Also, if you excuse me for being a bit graphic here, but Ive also had a weird period this month....after the intitial normal bleeding tailed off I have kept spotting blood and now its turned to a weird brown discharge which dosnt help with the irritation. Has anyone else experienced this with herpes?

Please, any help would be appreciated. Just trying to understand my body some more.

hiya..... after having my very first outbreak i got spots of blood everyday.... now its turned to that nasty brown discharge that your describing and this had been happening to me for 5 months now.... i only have about 5 days off a month from having it.... it also makes me itch which makes me worry too........ i dont know if this is a sign but im not worryin to much about it

need to know anything else i will try help

they misdiagnosed me at first was about to write me a script for anitbiotics for a UTI bc it hurt when i peed.

then she did the oral exam for what i thought was a yeast infection and also i know,,,,hemeroid. i felt stupid learning it was not let me tell you bc i didnt know hermoids were only on the ass. it was in btween my vagina and butt so i thought it was a hemeroid

when i looked with a mirror very red and irritated with white discharge, but not really any soars, one small one. mentioned above.

probably symptoms indeed. common ones from my reading
