I forgot to mention in my previous post that last night I was talking on skype with one of my best friends and plutonic love...we were discussing what im going through after ending a 7 year relationship and why I may have stayed longer than I should have, even though i knew it wasnt working the way it should...I have never told anyone about my H so I was having a hard time being honest with her about the fact that maybe I had stayed in this relationship much longer than I should have because I was afraid of being out there in the single world with H for the first time....(see my auto-bio for more clarification) then I just had to tell her...I had to tell someone...I knew she wouldnt judge me, but it was surprisingly hard to bring myself to do it (we can thank social stigma and ignorance for that)...while i was mumbling and bumbling with getting the words out, she cut me off and said, "if your trying to say you have herpes well I have it too...for 5 years now"...we both laughed like crazy...were best friends and we didnt even know that each other had it...I have to say that it helped emmensly to get this out for the first time...I am no longer afraid to tell anyone...I know it might be difficult in the future with a potential partner but I wont be afraid of it...anyway just thought i'd share it with everybody.
