its been a year in half i was intamit with this girl.. i dint use protection yea stupid me.Well a few weeks ago i had sex with my girlfriend. she was a virgin. once again it was unprotected sex.. I have had cold sores before or heres type 1.I have noticed that she has had a cold sores 2.im guesiin she has type 1 also.well we have had oral sex also and i was readin that it is more likely to get hepes by havin oral sex?well few days ago i thought i had a a mosquito biteon my bottom close to my thighs it was itchy so i was scratchd it,later that day i went in the shower and i saw that it dint look like a mosquito bite so i took a closer look.. first thing that came too my mind was herpes..i noticed that it as spreading and that i had some a liltle bit more up. Is it Possible for you first attack (outbreak) to appear on ur bottom? I did some research.. online saw some symptoms and some pictures . the thing that scares me the most is that if i had this virus before that if i infected my girlfriend.or if she had the virus but she was a virgin.i have a brother he is how u say A "MANWHORE" hes been with many girls and he has been intamit. Ofcourse im A Man and gone through puberty so i have some facial hair. we share a razor and i dont now if he has any std's.well My first partner is pregnet no no, not by me by her bf.. i havent talkd to her ever since that day.. and no dont think that it was a one night stand... first of all...whew. that was a lot of your chest there! I will try to help out as best as I can, and hopefully others will try too.

I would say this: if you are still showing signs on your buttocks of these pimple like things, then definitely go and get them checked out. If nothing else for your own peace of mind. You CAN get herpes simplex 1 from oral sex unfortunately (on your genitals, and elsewhere) although I am surprised you would have such a bad outbreak if you already HAVE herpes 1 (coldsores.) You can always go to planned parenthood. Call them and make an appointment asap. They will work with you on fees (since you are underage, you probably would not be charged any fees) and they are kind and considerate and will respect your privacy as well as treat you like a human being. (some doctors treat those of us with herpes like we are a leper or something...nice, eh?)

So please if you can, get it checked out. I wouldn't talk to the one night stand friend until you know for sure what is going on with you. And for the time being, maybe abstain from sex (oral and intercource) with your current girlfriend so that she doesn't catch this stuff too. There are other ways of showing love and affection until you get the thumbs up (or thumbs down...but we will try to be positive) from a doctor or planned parenthood. Go asap though, so they can look at the sores and asses what they are. Time is of the essence.

I think you CAN get herpes from using razors, but it would only be in the location you use it (on your face) so unless you are shaving your butt :wink: I don't think you have caught anything from your brother. But I wouldn't use his razors anymore, especially if he is a bit of a "manwhore"

I think you are wise beyond your years for being so careful and coming here to look for advice. I really commend you for this. You sound like a compassionate young man as well. Regardless of what the outcome is from this, please do not lose that !!! If it turns out to be the worst, you know you have this forum here to come to and talk and vent. (I sure do!)

hehe nah i do not shave my bottom.well this is and update on what i see there is a couple close together and they are not pimples it looks like they r spreading its like a liltle bit of sores and then it is red around them (to much info) :? . well they are not on my genetals it is on my bottom it kinda itches now and then but not reallyy i have no back pain or headaches or any "FluiDS" "discharges" comin out of my penis. well i havent made and appointmet or nothing but i saw that planned parenthood has a website and the clinics are very far i wanna go somewere close to me. it does sound like it could be herpes, BUT, it could also be a rash or hives! even more important to find a doctor....do you have any type of health clinic in your town???Check your yellow pages and phone book for any sort of local health clinic and call them. Either they can help or send you in the right direction.

As for getting Herpes 1 elsewhere on your body it is totally possible, but only if THAT part of your body came into contact with the virus. Sometimes you might get them in the same region as that virus as well. So if it is genital herpes, (hsv2) sometimes it can show up on your rear or thighs rather than your penis. I imagine it is the same with hsv1 (coldsores.) Some peopel don't just get the coldsores on their lips...they can get it on their cheeks, their nose...all sorts of crazy stuff. For whatever reason the virus will follow a particular nerve line and then pop up there. So I do not see why herpes 1 can not do the same in the genital region (and visa versa)

But I think usually it takes skin to skin, virus to skin contact. So if someone had kissed you in that region, well, that is the place the virus is going to show up.

Please let us know if you get some medical help and/or find a doctor. Keep us posted, and take alot of good vitamins (C to boost your immune system especially!) :wink: Can't hurt, right!!?!?

hey well yea i told my girlfriend today she was shoked but she was still with me. we went to this clinic i signd some forms and they took some urine and blood samples and they will let me now in 2 weeks if i have something.I AM STUPID beacause i dint show them the "THING" i had on my butt. I was 2 nervouse well i guess ima have to wait 2 weeks.. and as 4 the "thing" i have it still looks the same.

That is cool! i am so glad you went and got this checked out. Did they say they would use the blood work to check for herpes? If they didn't you might want to call them and tell them, HEY...check me for this, ok!!! Don't let them bully you either, sometimes the people who WORK in the clinics adn hospitals (not the docs and nurses) are busy and impatient and will not take the time to do the little things, and try to hurry you in and out.

You shoulda showed em your butt (ahem :lol: ) because maybe they could have made a diagnosis then and there, but that is ok. I am sure this is no easy task for you, and again, I commend you for being a mature and responsible young man. I wish there were MORE young men out there like you who were stand up guys, ya know, and take care of their business.

I am glad your girlfriend is sticking by your side. Like I said before, until you get some results, abstain for sex for a while...including oral. Do other fun things like kissing (unless one of you have a coldsore...) and cuddling and hugging...all that fun mushy stuff! There is alot to be said about good old fashioned making out!!!

You can take things like ibuprofin or tylenol to help with the pain and any aches you might have (herpes outbreaks can cause slight fever, headaches and joint aches and pains.) :(

Maybe a real low grade pain reliever like darvocet. Don't dip into the heavy duty crap (like Vicodins, percodans, etc. That is too much.)

the area you showed where you have a lump sounds like a swollen lymph gland...also associated with a genital herpes outbreak. :(

You CAN use alcohol or hydrogen peroxide on the sores to help clean and dry them up, but I would wait until you show a doctor again, maybe have them culture the sore itself. They might not be able to get an accurate diagnosis if you clean it and dry it out. But once you have them look at the site and do a test on it, THEN you can use those products. It will sting, but I find for me it works good in keeping it clean, and keeping it from spreading. :)
