i suppose i am paranoid over std's. i am a medical student and just read about std's and have been checkin my penis and testicles ever since. my parents are extremely strict and i know if i had an std and they found out, they would disown me. so i have been stretching the skin around my shaft and testicles and pulling hairs as i "inspected" myself for std's. this morning i woke up and found a small swelling on the left side of my penile shaft where it meets the testicle. it is slightly inflamed, but no multiple vesicles or papules. the swelling has also gone down since morning. :( could this be herpes? I have only had sex once and that was a year and half back and was protected. i wish my parents could accept who i was. To everyone who is suffering from herpes, do not feel it is your fault, it could happen to anyone.

Your absolutly right, it could happen to anyone... To be quite honest I really dont think you have anything to worry about... What you have sounds more like an allergic reaction to something you've ate, or if your not cicumsized you might have had un-cleaned dirt aggravate your penis to the point where it became a rash... Go get it checked out by a docter to make yourself feel better... If the rashes go away and you don't develope any sores within the next 15 days, it's safe to say your ok... Don't worry I truely think it's dirt... Good luck bro...
