Hello all...

Last sunday I engaged in oral sex, kissing, and rimming with one male. A couple of days ago there appeared a small sore area on my tongue. I do not know if it is related to this, but from pictures I have seen on the internet, it doesn't appear like it's 1st stage Syphilis (chancre).

We all know that it can be hard to make a diagnosis online, and despite your conclusion, I will get checked anyway to be 100% sure... but was hoping someone could, by looking at the pictures, provide your preliminary opinion.

I did pay a fee off this site (which I think is legit) "askthedr.com" and the reply I got said: "It's hard to tell from the pictures, but it appears to be a vesicle, a fluid filled cyst surrounded by a reddened rim, this is most likely a herpes lesion either type 1 (which is common in the population also known as a cold sore) or type 11 which is spread by genital or oral contact."


When looking at the pix, stand far back from the computer. It blurs too much if you are too close to the monitor.

It kinda does look like it could be a herpe...really hard to tell in the pictures....but it has the same appearance as the beginning of a little herpes sore. Definitely get into a doctor or clinic asap and they can test it for you and tell you for sure if it is herpes or not. Just for a hoot, they will probably ask if you want to do a Syphllis test as well. But it doesn't really look like that. But go asap so they can test it.

have you asked the bloke you were with if HE has herpes? Tell him your fears, see what he says.

I hope it is not the herps for you....and from now on, CONDOMS CONDOMS CONDOMS and dental dam! :wink:

Answer:
The thing is within 2 days (now) you can't see it, and I was told by someone else they can't test it and I have to wait a few months before getting blood work, but i guess it's better to have a preliminary result via blood work instead of waiting.

No I didn't ask him... so u can get herpes then from really any kind of oral contact? I read somewhere, i forget what kind of herpes it is but it can cause rapid death in 70% of cases it said...this wouldn't likely be my casa, eh? I mean people get cold sores all the time.

Could it be a possibility it was from the rimming? I know he washed up at night, but in the morning is when it happened so maybe it wasn't 100% clean.
