Question:
Yesterday I suddenly started itching like crazy on my testicals, after awhile I was wondering what the hell was going on, so I took a look. My testicals didnt have any bumps on them or anything but the skin felt very 'thick' for lack of a better term. I took a shower but that didnt help, it would itch really bad for like 10 minutes then just stop and start again later, it kept me up all night. Now today the skin seems a bit better, doesnt itch as much but I did notice a few small bumps on the underside of my penis shaft. They werent red or big at all, they were just my regular skin color. Now i know my best bet is to see my doctor of course but I wanted to know from you guys if this sounds like a herpes outbreak to you. Last time I had sex was 3 months ago.

you know, going to a doc would be best,BUT it doesn't sound like herpes...sounds more like jock itch or something. Everyone experiences herpes differently, yet, we all have some sort of similar "outbreak" symptoms, and yours just doesn't sound like it. Perhaps treat it as/for jock itch (ringworm) and keep an eye on the bumps. if they continue or persist, if you keep having "outbreaks" then go to a doctor asap, and have them test you for both HSV1 and 2, (herpes) and for HPV (warts). In the meantime, please abstain from sex until you know what is going on.
