um...so i've had successive oral herpes outbreaks for the last 8 weeks -- meaning every time as soon one goes away in two or so weeks, i immediately get another one or two somewhere else around my mouth...the wierd thing is that ive always had (long before i was ever sexually active) oral lesions every once and a while but nothing like this...8 weeks ago i DID have a sexual encounter in which a guy ejaculated on a very miniscule open spot of bloody skin on my lip (possibly a cold sore)...i thought he could have given me HIV and thereby depressed my immune system to the point of my having outbreaks as much as i have, but i had an HIV test done, and it came back negative...granted i have had some relatively unusual circumstances lately --> vacationing with my brother two days after that first outbreak started...then summer school in california...then i will be moving to nyc in the fall to start school...so there HAS been some added stress, but this is way over what seems normal cold sore outbreaks...ive been taking lots and lots of immune-boosting herbs and pills and vitamins (maybe ten in all a day) and i was given topical acyclovir, and now im taking the oral version, neither of which seems to help that much in preventing them.....
someone pleeeeeeeeease help me? or at least tell me if you've encountered anything like this before? thanks, karlmarx

That would explain the increased outbreaks, I would get tested if I were you to find out what you have exactly.
