is this normal?thing to do? etc??im just shocked how brutal it is right now and no one can understand around me why i cant do things.

Answer:
hi there,

have you gone to a doctor yet? Maybe they can help you take some medicines/antivirals to help get this cleared up a little quicker. also, you can take some tylenol to help alleviate some of the pain and achiness. But I would get into a doctor and see what they can do for you.

I never had bad outbreaks either, then when I was pregnant, I began to have HORRIBLE ones. I still do. I think my problem is both hormonal AND diet.....and stress too.

Try changing your diet a bit....and also, think of things that are stressing you out lately, if any. (work? family? etc.)

good luck and I hope you feel better soon!

Answer:
My first ob was similar. it was horrible. i don't know if you are male or female but here's some suggestions: cornstarch in your underwear, apply hydrogen peroxide to the blisters(use a clean cotton ball with each blister), blow dry area with a blow dryer on cool setting. Carry a travel spray bottle of perioxide to work to spray on the area when you go to the bathroom. Let me know if you are male or femaile and i'll give you more pointers.

thanks so much for replying, yeah i went to a doctor today, a new one since mine was booked out. She asked if I had actually had a TEST for herpes...the truth is i hadnt. When i first was diagnosed my other doctor just straight away said "you have herpes, heres medication"
Seemed pretty certain.
But after being checked today this other doctor said it doesnt look like it at all , so i got a test done, so hopefully I'll know everything for certain soon. 5 years of taking valtrex , it must be, if not i will thank god. But im not getting my hopes up.
I dont have blisters just all dry and rashy :S
which im sure is also a symtom of herpes anyway..oh well ill find out in a day or so...

Answer:
I am glad you went to another doctor...did the do blood work on you to test for the herpes virus??? That should be able to tell you once and for all.

keep us posted!!! :)

How do you know for sure that you are experiencing is because of herpes if you haven't even been to the doctor yet?
