Does the medication get rid of the tingling sensation?

Question:
Does taking the medication for herpes gets rid of the numbness, sensitivity, and tingling sensation after an outbreak when the blistering are gone? Are you suppose to feel anything in between outbreaks??

HELP!!! I'm experiencing this really weird sensation down there right now, its driving me nuts!!

Answer:
I'm on Valtrex suppressive therapy. I was diagnosed about 6 weeks ago when I had my first ob. I haven't had another ob but I do experience the tingling sensations where my ob occured originally. I get them everyday but they are not intense or really too bothersome. They also seem to have lessened. How long have you had it?

Doesn't experiencing tingling still mean you can transmit the virus?

As I don't get sores and don't seem to follow the usual pattern of OBs I'm really confused. My symptoms seem to come and go and range from intermittent tingling, flu type feelings/exhaustion, emotional changes (feelings of dread/depression), and discomfort in the lower abdomen.

The flu type feelings and aches might go away for a few days but the tingling never seems to go (although it only happens now and again and is worse in the evenings). I've had this for nearly two months now and I don't know if I'm contagious. I'm getting really fed up with not knowing what's going on and the doctors don't help by telling me I don't have herpes. I've not gotten round to having a blood test because I feel too tired and fed up to even make an appointment. I will have a few days of feeling energetic (although not as much as before this OB), then I will feel wiped out and unable to sleep properly. Does anyone else get this?

Answer:
Yea I get some severe exhaustion, I just can't seem to get things on track today, which probably means I'm on the verge of outbreaking, again, for the third time in a month, with only a couple days of little symtpoms inbetween, but let's hope not.

It seems like when I try to take a nap right before an outbreak I keep waking up every few minutes and am just completely miserable. Hell, I even had a dream today that I passed out on the floor and couldn't even get up. It took more than half the dream to get up haha. And then my alarm sounded and I was like, "son of a bitch, I have to get up again."

Answer:
Does the exhaustion get better over time or do I have to just learn to live with this knocked out feeling forever....

Answer:
I've only had it since around april but wasn't diagnosed correctly until a few weeks ago, so I wouldn't know.

Answer:
google quickclear.com it really helps. get off caffine, sugar diet products; get your body alkaline ( viruses thrive in acidic enviroments. purchase and use every day barleens greens. com; juice if you want with celery because of celery benefits or take barleens greens everyday and eat 2 to 5d stalks of celery daily. give time and get much better.;)
