Question:
Is it possible to get herpes if my boyfriend and I are the only people we have had sex with?

I saw him about a week ago & he had 2 huge cold sores on his lip. Also, I have incredibly painful blisters on my vagina. I also read that flu-like symptoms can occur. For the past 3 days I have had a fever that went up to 103.4, but for the most part stayed around 101. I've been having headaches and a sore throat as well.

I'm really worried. I thought you couldn't get this if you were both virgins from the start.

u can get it if ur a virgin, or not.
if either of u have ever kissed, someone who had it anytime in ur life> u could have been infected then, and givin it to ur partner now. so now u both have it. and has he had oral sex w/ ur recently? like while u were sick/ had the blisters.

u should def go get checked out, cause blisters are a sign of herpes, along w/ the flu like feeling, so u prob have it. but go get tested, and get some meds.

also> ask ur bf if he has ever had cold sores before this? some people think its just a cold sore> and dont know that it is herpes. so he might have always had it, and never really knew> and spread it to u.

alot of people get it during childhood, all those people kissing new born babies.... u never know who has herpes.
genitally though it might a be alittle harder to explain... u could have gotten it from any one whoever touched u down there, after they had touched there self if they were infected, so even though its hard to believe if someone w/ a cold sore ever changed ur diaper as a kid, could have given it to u then.

but they have this blood test, that helps narrow down the time line. like it tells u if the virus has been in ur system for a long time, or a short time. so when u get tested> u should ask about this aswell. that will help u figure out when u might have gotten it.

You can only speak for your own virginity--no one else's. It sounds like this is the first time your immune system has encountered this virus, and if he is the only one you have been sexually intimate with, I would simply bet that he had it, and likely knew he had it.
