I've been to the STI clinic twice and they turned me away, and didn't do any tests on me. But this is what happened..
I was self-exposed to herpes a few days before Christmas when I gave oral, and later on, me and her rubbed up against each other. We were drunk, and afterwards, I noticed a sore had started in my inner lip.
The second week of January, I felt discomfort in my urethra, eventually a pin and needle feeling around the head of my penis, and the feeling my urethra worked its way down slowly towards my testicles, where i felt the same feeling but not in my urethra any more. My skin became fleshy on the right side of my shaft, and eventually it all went away, two days before my first visit to the doctor. They saw nothing, said that because its receding and no sores were actually ever open, I did not have herpes.
Two days later, I noticed a red swell beneath my penis, with what looks like an opening on it, as well as another one with what looks like an opening, and I returned to the doctor. They looked at it, and said it wasn't worth testing, and sent me away again.
All the while, the symptoms were never intolerable, but discomforting let alone depressing at times, because I have no healthcare, or transportation, and visiting a doctor is really strenuous on my time, and work.
What should I do? What do you think?

sometimes im amazed at the qualitly of doctors- if u can, i would find a better one, and if the sore, was to small to test> they should have done a blood test.

with what you described its hard to really tell you if its herpes or not.
my advice, if u cant get back to a doctor, for a test, then just wait it out> but be safe if ur going to have sex..while waiting
