"Touchy" Subject/Question
Question: I'm a little over a week into my first bo. I only got one spot that I've never really been able to see- it just hurt and the area was a bit swollen. Now I can't see it at all and can barely feel it. If it never got to the point that a scab would form, how do I know when my breakout is over? Second, and "touchy" question... Is your entire genital area "off limits" during a breakout, or should someone just avoid any sores? In other words, if the sore is far in the back, near the anus, would manual stimulation to the clitoral area be risky for transmission? Hope this isn't too graphic, but I can't really find the information anywhere else. I'm physically feeling better and the sex drive is starting to return. I'm in a fairly new relationship and we're still in the "can't keep our hands off of each other stage". He hasn't been able to find a place to be tested yet- our local health dept only does a culture if you have an active breakout. Thanks for any advice! Answer: personally, if im having a ob the entire area is off limits. u can have other fun with out actually doing anything.... and i usually wait about a week- after all the feelings are gone, to really think the ob is over. Answer: If he does not have the virus I would DEFINETLY avoid all sexual contact in the area. As far as knowing when it's over...you will know...you just will... Answer: as far i am concerned, please avoid any sexual activity. This way you will be safe and your partner, during outbreaks, you are vunerable to various other factors Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
