Answer: is there any one who can help me Answer: Hi ohio23; I have a few questions for you. Was your herpes diagnosed by a doctor? Are you taking any medications for it? Because sometimes people think they have it, but they don't really. Assuming you did see a doc, it's normal to be depressed at first upon hearing the news. So...the next thing I'm going to tell you is that your life isn't over. This virus will not keep you from leading a healthy and happy life and someone will fall in love with you (assuming you're single) even though you have herpes. You won't have out breaks all the time...in fact, some people can go years between outbreaks. You will learn how to manage things and get through out breaks and you'll adapt. :) You should probably speak with the two suspects and let them know what's going on so that they can go get tested. If they knew they had herpes and didn't tell you, that sucks. I hope you start cheering up soon... Take care. Answer: I was diagnosed about two weeks ago and it was pretty hard for a while. Mostly just during the OB i was having. I had a lot of the same feelings as you, but then i thought there's no point in being upset, because it only makes things worse. As hard as it is, try and make things positive. Be thankful you are blessed with a life. I think sometimes we all get worked up over this virus "herpes" and it's pretty dumb. Herpes has always been looked down upon, so when we are diagnosed we feel angry, dirty, and like everyone is going to judge us. If society only knew ITS JUST HERPES, big deal. We probably wouldnt get so upset about it. I think its the fact that everyone always tells you herpes= std, herpes= bad. Okay sorry to ramble on, but feel free to post more, we're all here to help eachother =] Answer: I understand it's hard. I was diagnosed about a month ago, and still I suffer from the good day/bad day deal. I could be having a really good, on day and all it takes is one herpes joke from someone who has no idea and it can just ruin my entire day and then it's all I can do to not cry hysterically. But just so you know, it gets a little easier and easier each day. Learn all you can, educate yourself so you can educate others, and take all the time YOU need to help sort yourself out. I wish you the best of luck. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
