I don't even know if I have herpes yet, but I'm assuming it is until the clinic re-opens Thursday... Until then I'm just gearing myself up because these symptoms seem to match herpes.

Anyway, I was in love with this girl, we had been together for quite some time (just short of a year, to be exact) and we had been intimate many times, always using protection. One time, we went without, and around 6 days later (I believe a little over a month ago now) I noticed a small bump set off about half an inch from my scrodum. Anyway, the relationship went sour and we broke up for unrelated reasons and now I'm left here with this worsening condition, which she tells me she noticed on herself about 4 months ago but never told me (you see why I broke up with her, no?) about. I had been tested near the beginning of the relationship for STDs and came off clean, but she has never been tested despite having multiple partners.

Don't get me wrong here, I'm not an angel, but I didn't cheat on her and I know I was STD free going into the relationship... Someone else post a story so I don't look like a jackass heh.

You are in no way a jack ass. At all. you trusted her to be open and honest with you and she wasn't.

It just scares me because I would think that she would not have sex with you if she had any lesions or bumps, which make me wonder can this be spread when there is no noticeable discomfort down there.

Are you on meds yet? I am on valtrex and since my 1st outbreak 1 year ago, I have not had another one. I have tingled here and there, so I am wondering if this how she felt when she past it on to you.

Since you both have it. Any thoughts on getting back together. :wink:

Nothing can stop you from getting it 100%, not even condoms. If any part, mainly near your genitals comes in contact with an open sore, there is a good chance you'll get it. I'd say just try to prevent it as long as possible with condom use or avoiding sex while she has blisters, which is very difficult with an active sex life but might be done. Using toys is probably the best suggestion I have to satisfy her, as far as you go, it might still be possible for her to give you oral sex without spreading.

Just be careful, but don't be suprised if you get it.
