Ok i have another ? for you guys. As the sores heal does the pain let up any or will they hurt bad until they are fully gone? And how did you tell your families about having herpes? My husband knows obvi. and my best friend but how do i tell my parents or my brother? I dont want them to hate my husband or think less of me or think bad things like im a whore or something tho i am not.

My sores always hurt when i urinated until they were healed. As far as the pain for walking, sitting, moving, etc, it lessened as the time went on. When you feel the sores start to "scab" i guess i would say, its still a bit painful, but there is a difference in the pain and it is much less severe. As for telling people. I'm with you on that one and only my boyfrend knows. So i'll keep checking this post for others suggestions on telling the family. Hope you feel better.

I varies on everyone for me, with no medication, it took about three 2.5 weeks for it to completely go away. I can clear up sooner or later than that though
