flesh is flesh, right? unusua; questions...
Question: I have HSV-1, its basically a joke if you ask me... I get 1 cold sore rarely if ever... I guess I got them since adolescents time. No biggie as far as Im concerned, its in my inner cheek.. if it ever shows up.. when Im fully stressed to the max. I rarely if ever get a canker sore. so I obviously have the anti-bodies for HSV in my system.... that being said... had protected sex with this girl, mutual masturbation, finished orally. Penis has been fine, fingers have been fine. Then she drops a bomb on me...that she had " a scare" from a previous boyfriend.. but her test was negative. Now paranoia has set in.. and I am over analizing every little thing I see on my penis... then I started thinking.. my finger was inside her vagina.. exposed... wouldnt the virus attack my finger if she was positive for HSV? should I just focus on anything appearing on my fingers? Visual inspection of her, appeared fine...but I am no expert. I checked online.. and most sites say it starts off with little red "bite" marks... I dont have anything like that. Is this the only known first symptom of infection... red marks first? I have no bumps or anything. Though I am paranoid over every vein I see on my penis. oral sex (bj) was unprotected... but since HSV is a skin-to-skin virius... its pretty rare for that, right? She has been under alot of stress with school and bills, and other drama.. wouldnt it show up now... since this virius is known to appear during periods of unreasonable stress... her stress level was pretty high. Thanks in advance. Answer: hsv is not just skin to skin, its also fluids. like saliva and vaginal fluids. so if she is post, you can have it on your finger, and your penis. it could show up, or it could wait till she isnt stressed out, or wait till it has a trigger, she might not break out from stress and might break out after eating a certain food .... just have her re-tested again. Answer: If I already have anti-bodies in my system.. am I more prone or less prone to HSV-2 Infection? Answer: Is this the only known first symptom of infection... red marks first? No, my husband and I have small tiny cuts. No bumps, or red marks. oral sex (bj) was unprotected... but since HSV is a skin-to-skin virius... its pretty rare for that, right? Couldn't be more wrong. You could have easily passed it to her genital herpes, just like genital to oral. Both can be very contagious. She has been under alot of stress with school and bills, and other drama.. wouldnt it show up now... since this virius is known to appear during periods of unreasonable stress... her stress level was pretty high. Not necassarily, everybody is all the way different from the other. If I react in an o/b during stressful times, doesn't mean my husband will. Answer: you would be less prone- IF it was the same strain of the virus, like catching oral when you already have oral. or hsv2 oral, if u have 1 already. thats hard. but catching herpes on a diffrent part of the body with a diffrent type, is still possible, your body does have antibodies for the 1 strain, so if she has the other, you should def keep looking for symptoms. it might take a week, it might be years before anything pops up ... I rarely if ever get a canker sore. so I obviously have the anti-bodies for HSV in my system.... i know this isn't your real concern but.. canker sores are not caused by herpes.. moreover, you dont get herpes outbreaks on the soft parts inside your mouth, ie inside of your cheek. They are probably canker sores, and like i said, are not caused by herpes. if one were to get a herpes outbreak inside the mouth, itd be on something hard like the hard palete or the tongue. Answer: not necessarily true about not being able to get herpes outbreaks on the fleshy inner parts of your mouth.......I know a person who got herpes on the back of her throat and mouth after contracting it from someone she performed oral sex on who had it genitally. So it is possible. I know you are thinking canker sores are not caused by herpes and no, a true canker sore is not supposed to be associated with the herpes virus but sometimes the herpes virus does cause symptoms inside the mouth and they may present "like" canker sores or cuts, or bumps, etc. in the mouth....especially like having a little clear bubble or a few on the edges of the tongue...that is common for some people ...a lot of people get such minor outbreaks in the mouth its hard to tell always......so just saying that many people actually do get symptoms in those parts of the mouth, it is just far more common to get them on the outside of your mouth/face. Answer: you dont get cold sores on the inner cheek.. Answer: and canker sores ARE NOT caused by herpes if the sore is caused by herpes.. it is not a canker sore then Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
