quick question
Question: i have gh can i pass it on in my saliva. Answer: no, you would need saliva in your genitals then. you can pass it in any genital fluids you produce though Answer: No, herpes is location specific. genital herpes is not transmitted from the mouth or saliva. It is possible to transmit herpes via fluids, but the mechanism is that the fluids would have to pass over symptomatic areas that are actively shedding the virus and the fluids would act as a carrier for the viral particles. Once the fluids had dried the virus would not survive. What I am trying to say is that herpes is not a systemic infection, but is confined to the general area of the original infection. Answer: You can't pass it in saliva, it is passed skin to skin in mucus membrane areas (such as genitals, mouth, and eyes). So if you were to have HSV-2, never touch an outbreak and then rub your eyes or mouth - because there is a chance you could transmit it that way. And you do know HSV-1 can be transmitted from the mouth to the genitals through oral. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
