help - i need advice asap
Question: ok so i had gone to the doctor yesturday afternoon paranoid that i had herpes, thinking maybe i just wasnt getting the sores. She did a culture (not for herpes) and came back saying it was yeast. She did an exam, checking very carefully, and said there was nothing that remembled herpes and then with the yeast being positive i tried to believe her. So now 24 hours after the exam i checked myself in the mirror and there was white discharge kind of all over that area. Most was coming out of my vagina - and i know it is possible to have it kind of spread during the day - but it freaked me out. I wiped it off and didnt see anything that looked like a sore and so far no more discharge is back in that area (except the inside area) But i guess my question is - is it possible to have had her look yesturday and see nothing wrong, and me check myself constantly - but i guess is it possible to not get a bump and get that white looking discharge? im so scared, this thing just keeps haunting me. any advice? thanks Answer: just wanted to add that there is no pain, and it doesnt itch at all - just this discharge. thats all. Answer: Usually yeast infections have alot of white discharge. It can be quite a thick coating. Please stop tomenting yourself, and especially, stop irritating your skin and examining yourself repeatedly. Doctors really can recognize herpes on site, take it from someone who knows. There is a thing such as too much intervention. :) Just take the medicine you are supposed to, and stay away from white sugar, which feeds the yeast. You might consider also taking garlic and some acidophilus supplements. http://my.webmd.com/hw/womens_condit...-9531713CA348} Good luck! s2bh Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
