I was wondering if it is safe to use Tinactin to releave som eof the itching and pain, it is for jock itch and athletes feet? has anyone tried it, I am trying to get this healed asap, I am goining on vacation next week, and I don't won't it ruined

herpes, and itch is not a fungus.
it wont work, infact it might make it even worse

i would suggest a&d ointment, or vaseline if u want to use something.

Epsom salt baths can help. Aveeno Active Naturals makes an oatmeal bath powder that sooths the itch (get the one that is designed for poison oak)

There is an ingredient used in several anti-itch remedies called Pramoxine hcl. It comes in a spray too which is neat and clean and it is an antiseptic too.

I've heard people swear by the purell hand gel. Look up that thread if you want to see what they say. I have not tried it.
