Question:
In Jan this year, i noticed a lump appear just above my top lip and it's still there to this day, then a month later another one appeared, and it came minutes after i had a shave, then another one only the other day.
They are like skin clear lumps around my lips. There is no pain, itching or redness.

And they come after i had a shave? What could this be?
Also is it herpes............as isnt herpes supposed to go and come back?
As once the lumps have come, they dont go.

What is this?

if u still have it you should go to the doctor and ask, cause anything that stays around isnt good.
herpes can be clear bumps aswell.

if it on the top of your lip like the very very top of the red, or more on your skin?

------ ok well i read your other thread, and you have already been to two doctors that told you its herpes. on your lip and face. if you have yet to be tested, get tested.

so my advice, stop what you are doing that causes the outbreak. if its shaving, stop shaving everyday etc. take the meds, or get some coldsore stuff at the drugstore and try those for the ones on your lips.

Well i shave once a week, and after ive shaved its abit red around the lips of my skin, and then after a half hour or so it's fine.

But sometimes, i have more lumps appear.

I'm going to my doc again on monday.

The thing is, these lumps dont come and go away, ive had them since Jan and there has been no improvement.

I'm using this cream, called fudicin(something like that) But im not usin it as prescribed, 2x a day as when i put it on,my lumps are more shiny and look bigger.

What else can i do? How do i get tested?
Ive been told i have a herpes lesgion.

It's never gonna go is it? I thought herpes went but comeback?
But mine havent gone since ive had them.

you prob have herpes on your face like the derm said.
the "lumps" im not really convinced, but a doc did say yes.
although you are correct that they should go away and come back, but sometimes they take forever to go away. it also is possible that each time u do have one go away you trigger a new one, pretty much a endless cycle.

for now, you can take vitamins, like l-lysine, b12, zinc to boost your immune system (a happy system makes a happy body lol) and take the meds AS prescribed, even if it makes them big and greasy. take it when its not going to impact you that much like after work/ when you are home. or before bed.

and getting tested isnt hard, if you have the lump, they will just rub it with a qtip or scrape it- nothing painfull -just like if you were scratching it softly. or you can have a blood test.

Answer:
I was taking Aciclovir 800g tablets prescribed by my doc.
Then my doc referred me to the derm as there was no improvement and she prescribed me with acicolovir 200g, where i have to take one after the other with a glass of water, so it makes it 400g in all.
So im taking two in the morning and 2 in the evening now.
My derm gave me some fudicin cream which is for skin infections.
Ive put it on a few nights, i dab a tiny bit on and rub it in........... but i saw no improvement.
I put some on 2day and i'll do it 2night.

But it's gettin me down so much!!!!!!!
Im going too see the Doc on monday.
I want to get rid of them now!!!
