I found out 2 weeks ago that i have both HSV 1 & 2. I don't have sysmptoms except a vagianl discharge. for many yeras i've been seeing my doc for yeast infections. ANyways, the doc prescribed valtrex for my current discharge (white discharge, no smell). But after taking the med for 7 days, 2 time a day, the discharge did not clear up. But i've starting itching around my lips and vagaina a little, but i'm not sure if it's all in my mind. Can someone tell me what's going on?

ur having the symptoms of it, i am going throught this too, i strated valtrax on the 25 of april of this year, took if for 5 days twice a day b/c it only got worse. but also notice the itching, burning and tingling, happen more when i think about it too much

you should see if you can get diflucan for a yeast infection or try something over the counter. i had a yeast infection and an outbreak at the same time and i had troubles telling the difference between the two since there is itching with both but it just got out of control and i had my doctor give me diflucan and for the most part the itching went away. did you have a blood test done for the herpes or did they do a culture?
